
The Barnabas House Board of Directors, comprised of men and women with extensive experience in ministry and business, is committed to the spread of the Gospel throughout the world. The Board is planning the design, construction and operation of the Barnabas House Pastoral Retreat. The board provides leadership, oversight and financial accountability.

The Barnabas House Advisory Council is comprised of leading businessmen and pastors in Zambia who provide "feet on the ground" support to all.

Francis Manana, Executive Director of the Barnabase House Pastoral Retreat, was born in Mbale, Uganda, and was "born again" in 1976. Sensing God's call in his life, he was among the first students to be trained at Pan Africa Christian College, Nairobi, Kenya, where he eaned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982. After serving as a Church pastor and Bible College instructor in Uganda for two years, he attended Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology, Nairobi, Kenya. He graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in 1987 and served as senior pastor of a local church, as well as instructor and Dean of Students at the Theological College of Central Africa, Ndola, Zambia.
After earning a Master of Theology and a Doctor of Missiology degree at Asbury Theological Seminary in Asbury, Kentucky, Francis returned to Nairobi to pastor and teach in Kenya at Pan Africa Christian College and at the Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology.
Pastor Manana and his family came to Northern Virginia in 2001, where he serves as Associate Pastor of Cornerstone Evangelical Free Church and as a Hospice Chaplain in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Francis and his wife, Beatrice, have a strong desire to return to Africa to teach, mentor and support pastors in Central Africa.
